What is acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a form of therapy in which fine needles are inserted into specific points on the body, for the purpose of promoting health and treating illness or injury.

Is acupuncture safe?

Acupuncture is generally very safe. Serious side effects are very rare but minor side effects such as slight bleeding or bruising can sometimes occur.

DR. BRETZ USES ONLY SINGLE-USE, STERILE, DISPOSABLE ACUPUNCTURE NEEDLES.

DR. BRETZ' TRAINING:
Dr. Bretz was trained by the foremost expert in Medical Acupuncture, Dr. Joseph Helms. Since completing his initial training, Dr. Bretz has had additional training with some of the leading authorities in acupuncture including Dr. Richard Tan. Dr. Bretz has also attained the credentials of D.A.B.M.A. -- Diplomate of the American Board of Medical Acupuncture -- which attests to his high degree of training and experience.

Acupuncture is an ancient treatment method, originally developed in China, but now widely used around the world and throughout the United States.
